Joseph Mohr graduated with a B.S. in Geography from Texas A&M University in 2019. His primary mission is studying the intersection of politics, economics, construction, public health, and religion through the lense of demographics. He has worked in the education sector and the housing market industry creating informational maps about community health, access to amenities and services, and employment opportunities.
His idea for mapmaking as a creative marketing service first came to him while he was out shopping in a popular downtown area. While looking for a place to eat, he noticed that the map kiosk was outdated. Later on, he was doing market research for new housing developments across Houston. The task of finding and mapping all of the local amerities, services, and other points of interest was so much work as it was. To his suprise, most developing communities did not have a community map available. Seeing this need, he set out on a mission to map out what matters most.
When he is not working, he spends his time playing soccer, reading, dancing, sketching, or drinking a good cup of cold brew coffee.
